Irene E. Morgan, 88, Ottawa, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Emporia.
Mrs. Morgan died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998, at the Village Manor Care Center, Ottawa.
She was born Aug. 28, 1910, in Americus, the daughter of Henry and Hulda Morlock Reichardt. She grew up in the Americus area and later graduated from Emporia High School.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Ottawa, the United Methodist Women and Dorcas Circle of the church. She was also a member of the Oasis Club, Women's Society of the Federal National Retired Employees Assn. and the Sertoma Club.
She married Horace Abraham in 1932. He died in May of 1942 [1940}. She later married Alvin Morgan on Aug. 1, 1948, in Emporia. He died in May of 1980.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Nelson, Lawrence; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
