Mrs. Brenda Faye Abbott, 58 of Noel, Missouri departed this life on April 4, 2022, at her home after an illness.

Brenda was born August 24, 1963, in Wichita, Kansas to the late LD and Imogene (Merriman) Jones. Brenda grew up in Northwest Arkansas area before moving to the McDonald County area 10 years ago. She was united in marriage to Ricky Abbott in Wichita, Kansas in 1979. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her dogs, cooking, cleaning and being around her family. She was a member of the Splitlog Baptist Church in Splitlog, Missouri.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ricky in 2009, a son Ricky Allen Abbott, brother; Bobby Jones, two sisters; Diana Sequichie and Beverly Wilson and a granddaughter; Karlie Jones.

Brenda is survived by her significant other; Richard Stufflebeam, a son; Aaron Jones and wife, Kadi, of Joplin, Missouri; two daughters; Angela Lynne Abbott and husband, Brady, of Webb City, Missouri, and Melissa Abbott of Noel, Missouri; two brothers, Dwayne Jones and George Jones both of Webb City, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Sue Fetter of Hogeye, Arkansas and Geneva Jones of Centerton, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Azlynn Jones and Diejonia Abbott, as well as a host of other family and friends that will dearly miss her.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Faye Abbot will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2022, at the Ozark Funeral Home, in Anderson, Missouri, with Pastor Shan Cobb officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers: Steve Wilson, Mathew Wilson, Jacob Jones, Gabriel Sequichie, Mason Marlow and Ashton Jones. Burial will follow in the Peace Valley Cemetery, north of Anderson, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time.
