Grace Elayne Abner, infant daughter of Kent and Tiffany (Harris) Abner of Harrison, passed away shortly after birth on Sunday evening, January 6, 2008, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
Beside Grace's parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Janice Harris, great-grandmother, Ruby Looper, and her uncle, Josh Harris, all of Harrison; her uncle, BJ Harris, of Dallas, Texas; her paternal grandparents, Peggy and Mauri Jones, of Bloomington, Illinois and Ron and Sharon Abner of Orlando, Florida; her aunt, Megan McGinnins, of Chicago, Illinois; and several cousins and other relatives.
Grace Elayne was preceded in death only four months ago by her grandfather, Jimmy Layne Harris, who was there to welcome her at the Gates of Heaven.
Grace's parents would like to thank Dr. Causey, Dr. Shrum, and all the nurses and staff that worked so hard to care for their daughter and for the great comfort they provided after her passing.
Grace's parent would also like to encourage support of the March of Dimes Organization and The Arkansas Children's Hospital in Grace's memory.
Graveside service was Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at the Brittain Cemetery near Olvey, with Archie Sappenfield officiating.
