Born in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Clarence and Clara (Furney) Albright.
She was a 1941 graduate of Greencastle High School. She had been the cook at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity at DePauw University for 18 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Greencastle Church of the Nazarene.
She married George O. Jackman in June 1942 and he preceded her in death May 4, 2002.
Survivors include two sons, John Jackman and wife Ruth, Fillmore, and David Jackman and wife Janice, Greencastle; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Lillian Abbott.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor Bob Muncie officiating.
Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
