Geneva G. Alexander (Grammy) of Satanta, Kansas, passed away on January 16, 2022, at the Lone Tree Retirement Center in Meade, Kansas. She attended school in Satanta and graduated in 1949. She got married on May 28, 1949, in Garden City, Kansas. Geneva and her husband lived at the Hugoton City Service Gas Plant for 35 years. In 1976, they resided in Satanta, Kansas, until they moved into the Lone Tree Retirement Center in 2018.

Geneva worked for Red Rock School as a cook, at Collingwood Grain Elevator in Ryrus, Grant County, Kansas, the Satanta District Hospital, and finished her working career at Happy Ages Senior Center in Satanta, Kansas.

Geneva was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Bertie Durham, her brother Earl
Durham, sister and brother-in-law Janie and Vernon Lloyd, her son Butch Alexander, and one grandson Benjamin Shipp.
