JOSEPH M. ABERCROMBIE

Funeral services were held at the Peterson-Foster funeral home here Monday afternoon for Joseph Malcolm Abercrombie, who
died at his home in Fruitland Friday. Mr. Abercrombie was born in Polk County, Arkansas, Aug. 12, 1854. He came West in
1914, living at different places in Oregon and Idaho and after several trips back to the Middle West, he permanently located in western Idaho, first at Weiser, then in Payette and last at Fruitland. He was married to Sarah Burt, March 30, 1940, and is survived by his wife, four children by a former marriage: Mrs. O.A. English, Payette; three sons, David of Castle Rock, Wash., Clint of Mariposa, Cal., and Walter, Glendale, Cal.; a brother, John G. of Waisenberg, Colorado; 10 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

The Rev. E. R. Kaemmer had charge of the services and burial was in Hillcrest cemetery in Weiser.
