Roger Glen Amundson passed away on Saturday July 18, 2015 at Southfield Wellness Center in Webster City, Iowa. Services and burial will be held at the Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls at 10am on Friday July 24, 2015. With Paster Mike Kroona from Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City officiating, and Military Rites by the American Legion of Iowa Falls. Luncheon following at the Community Theater in Iowa Falls.

Roger Glen Amundson was born May 3, 1937 in Radcliffe, Iowa at home, the son of Omer Arphy and Borghild Geneva Knudslien Amundson. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Radcliffe on February 13, 1938. Roger was born the 9th child out of 10 children, six boys and 4 girls. He joined the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1958.

Roger is survived by his sister LaVonne Amundson Johnson of Webster City, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters: Ruth Katheran Reed, Donald Robert Amundson, Omer Arphy Amundson Jr. {JR}, Betty Jean Abbas, Herbert Dale Amundson, Claude Luther Amundson, Barbara Jean Ites, and James Clark Amundson
