Joseph Hyndmann "Joe" Treanor was born on December 1, 1900 at Craggie Hope, Cheatham County, Tennessee, the son of John Bell Treanor Sr (1872–1938) and Florence (Hoggins) Treanor (1876–1963).
He was married to Georgia Hutton.
Living in Kingston Springs, Tennessee, Joe was 65 years old when he passed away suddenly at a Nashville hospital on July 18, 1966.
Survivors included his widow Georgia Hutton Treanor in Kingston Springs, sister Mrs Jean Adams of Bradyville, Tennessee and brothers W O Treanor, L L Treanor at Nashville and Mercer L Treanor in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Funeral Services were held on July 20th at the chapel of Martin's & Bracey-Welsh Funeral Home, and burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville, with nephews serving as Pallbearers.
