Jordan was an extremely talented and kind young man who was a friend, classmate and teammate of my son Jacob. He was a wonderful young man whose sudden loss saddened all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Jordan was born November 6, 1998 in Guilford County. He was a member of Life Community Church and graduated from Ragsdale High School where he played football and was on the wrestling team. He was currently employed by Goodwill Industries in Asheville. Jordan had an infectious smile and a love for shoes.
Survivors include his mother and step father, Carrie Alston and Charles Alston, Jr., his father, Jonathan Logan; brothers, Alex Bumper, Nicholas Alston and Zachary Alston; several grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
