Gained her wings on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. She was born April 26, 1961, in Jellico, Tennessee.
She is preceeded in death by her parents, Tommy Joe & Mary Ruth (Merle) Abbott. Also preceeded by her two sisters; Lois Marlow and Sandra Jean Girard.
She is survived by husband Tommy Ayers of Newcomb, Tennessee. As well as three children; Joyce Ann Davis of Newcomb, Tennessee, Thomas Ayers (wife LeeAnn) of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Michael Ayers of Pikeville, Kentucky. Two grandchildren; Julianna Davis and Thomas Ayers, one sister; Carolyn Moore (husband Ed) of Knoxville, Tennessee, one brother; Thomas Abbott (wife Pat) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Janice was loved by everyone she met and could make friends no matter where she went. Many know her for her selfless and giving heart. She had the brightest and friendliest personality.
Janice wished to be cremated.
Her Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Wooldridge Church at 1pm.
