She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Maurice Catholic Church.
She was married to Paul L. Theising on February 24, 1940 and he preceded her in death on August 27, 1991.
She is survived by one son, William C. (Rosemary) Theising, Sunman; two daughters, Ruth Hoenicke, Milan, Paula McDonald, New Castle; three brothers, Donald "Fritz" (Ruth) Vanderpohl, Greensburg, Vernon "Boogie" Vanderpohl, Greensburg, Gilbert Vanderpohl, Greensburg; four sisters, Esther Abbott, Greensburg, Marilyn Preston, Greensburg, Elizabeth Schroeder, Greensburg, Dorothy Land, Greensburg; 9 Grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one daughter, Judy Powers, three brothers, John Vanderpohl, Jr., Clifford Vanderpohl, Irvin "Buss" Vanderpohl; one sister, Florine Owens.
Visitation will be from 1-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. A rosary service will be held on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2006 at the St. Maurice Catholic Church in St. Maurice with Rev. George Joseph Nangachveetil officiating.
Interment will be held in the St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
