He was born on October 8, 1959 in Calumet a son of the late Reino and Elaine (Fountaine) Aalto.
George was a life long resident of the Copper Country attending school at Calumet and working for various area machine shops over the years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his friends. He was a life long Detroit Lions fan.
Preceding him in death was a brother in law Donald Brillhart.

A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek in the spring of 2021.
