Daniel Edward Abney age 68 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Logan Memorial Hospital. He was born in Christian County, Kentucky on August 5, 1954 to the late Carlos Lester and Mary Louise (Thompson) Abney. Daniel is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and retired from E. R. Carpenter Company where he was a Mechanic. Funeral services for Daniel Abney will be conducted Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Cliff Kennedy and Philip Coots officiating and burial to follow in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
