OBITUARY
Mrs. Lucinda Jane Clark died in Omaha, where she had gone for treatment, Monday night (27th). The remains were brought to this city and the funeral services held in the Methodist church, Wednesday, afternoon, Interment in the Ogallala Cemetery. (cemetery records do not show this)
Mrs. Clark was born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, January 29, 1849; removed to Kansas in 1859, to Nebraska in 1876. She was married to G. B. Clark in 1865, and during the thirty years of her married life has become the mother of thirteen children, all of whom are living. She joined the Methodist Church during the revival last year, and died in the faith, in which she was perfected by four months of patient suffering.
The bereaved husband and children have the deepest sympathy of the entire community.
