He was a retired Sergeant Major with the US Marine Corps.
He is survived by his daughters, Vicki (William) Colburn, Foley, AL and Bambi (Jim) Jones, Amherst, NE; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
