RISING FAWN -- Tempia Dunn Hollingsworth, 94, passed away Friday, April 19, 2002.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Lookout Mountain, where she was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Her daughter, Imogene Layne, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband: Earl Roscoe Hollingsworth of Rising Fawn; daughter, Edna F. Blevins of Durham, Ga.; sons, Frank Abbott of Chickamauga, Ga., Ernest E. Abbott of Detroit, Mich., John R. Abbott of Arkansas, Henry N. Abbott of Flintstone, Ga., Roy Lee Abbott of Atlanta, Mich., Larry C. Abbott of Rising Fawn, M. Lamar Abbott of Cassandra Community; 32 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2002, at New Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Don Moreland and Rev. Lee Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in Ascalon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after noon today and all day Sunday at the funeral home.
