Reba Mae Abbott, 84, recently of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022. Reba was born on February 3, 1938, in Cabell, KY, to Edgar Lloyd and Ima Mae (Weston) Abbott. She is a 1959 graduate of New Palestine High School.

Reba was always cheerful, easy-going, and had a good sense of humor. Even with a disability, she was a blessing for and to others, especially her family. She had a strong faith in Christ and church and could often be seen reading from her Bible.

She is survived by her loving siblings, Ed Abbott, Troy Abbott, Jean Relford, and Opal Spragg and several nieces and nephews.

Reba was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Shirley Blankenbaker and Cora Haney-Demaster; and her good friend, Lillian Williamson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home- New Palestine Chapel, 19 East Main Street, New Palestine, IN 46163, with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Reba's loving family.
