She was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. She retired from the accounting department at ConAgra after over 30 years. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years, Eugene "Fig" Gee; daughter, Charlotte Ann Abercrombie; brothers, Lawrence Jackson Townsend, Larry Albano; and sister, Barbara Joe Townsend Daniel. Surviving are her sons, Bobby Lane Sheffield and Charles Eugene Gee - both of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Amy Dawn Sheffield Worley, Kasey Ann Sheffield, and Michael Shane Allen; great granddaughter, Olivia Blake Worley; sister, Dorothy Mae "Dot" Sheffield, Dawsonville; and brother, Thomas Charles Townsend, Cumming.
