Diane Elaine Abbott, 71, of Gladwin, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023.
She was born on May 16, 1951, the daughter of Lester "Bud" and Rita (Bourgeois) Conde in Milan Michigan.
A 1969 graduate of Milan High School, she worked for many years at Eastern MI University and then Central MI University in the student accounting department. She also worked at Ypsi-Arbor Lanes where her husband was the manager and later at Beaverton Bowl, the bowling alley they owned. In her youth, she loved all forms of dance competition and as an adult, she loved to bowl, golf and see her grandchildren.
On December 7, 1990, she married Pat Abbott in Ypsilanti and following 28 loving years of marriage, he preceded her in death January 17, 2018.
Left to cherish her memory is her son: Jason E. (Angie) Porter; daughter-in-law: Lisa Abbott; grandchildren: Courtney, Nathan, Matthew, Olivia, Sophia, Caleb, and Silas; brother: Don (Terri) Conde; sister: Denise (Jimmy) Baxter; along with several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; and brother: Darrel.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, January 19, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 2-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin.
She will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery, Gladwin
