James Ralph Adair AKA "Buddy, Jimmy, or Speedy", age 79, of Arabi, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Crisp Regional Hospital. He was born in Camilla, Georgia on November 25, 1943 to Zelma Eugene Adair and Louise Dennis Mullis. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Margaret B. Adair, son, Stacy Adair, and brother, Grady Adair.
Survivors include his brothers Frank Adair and wife Shirly of Douglas, Georgia, Wayne L. Mullis of Lakeland, Georgia, and Jerry Mullis and wife Judy of Lakeland, Georgia; caregivers: Jo Ann Ortiz, Kenny Wayne Nance, and Travis Sarvis; dog, Baby Girl; a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A graveside service was held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Burnt Church Cemetery in Lakeland, Georgia. Family will receive friends from 2-2:45 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Music Funeral Services in Lakeland, Georgia with procession to follow to the cemetery. The Adair family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services of Lakeland.
