Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home - Plain Dealing, Plain Dealing, LA.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Plain Dealing, LA.
Mrs. Abresch was born on September 11, 1934, in Benton, LA, and passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, in Shreveport, LA.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Marie Higdon-Young and husband William, Julaine Yvonne Higdon-Mandalfino and husband Paul; two sons, Jeffery Spencer Higdon and Jody Bob Higdon and wife Teresa; sister, Bonnie Burt Solomon and husband Harry; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; step-son, Robert Abresch and wife Helen; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Abresch was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Jackson Higdon and Robert Abresch, her parents, Willie and Lillie Burt, and grandson, Christopher Higdon.
Pallbearers will be Chad Young, Cole Young, Clay Young, Doug Higdon, Shawn Higdon, and David Solomon.
