Mr. Berkley Serene Adams, age 76, of Red Oak Grove Farm, died Monday, August 27. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lelia Miliam Adams; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Adams Trueheart, Ellicott City, Md., Mrs. Marie Adams Griffith, Brooksville, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Marie A. McDermott, Mrs. Zoe A. Boyer, both of Richmond; Mrs. Madeline A. Frady, of Red Oak, Va.; one brother, Frederick D. Adams, Bowlers Wharf, Va.; three half brothers, Edward D. Adams, Atlanta, Ga., Gordon S. Adams, Sunnyvale, Calif., Rhea L. Adams, of Maitland, Fla.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services 4:30 Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at Newcomb Funeral Home, Chase City.
