The Castle Rock Journal, February 19, 1896
"Died . . Near Castle Rock, Colo., Sunday evening, February 16th, of capillary bronchitis, Rose S. Scott, aged 10 months . The little one was sick but a few days. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Todd at the church in Castle Rock Tuesday February 18th and the remains laid to rest in the Castle Rock Cemetery."

Grandparents are buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock, Colorado.

In the 1910 United States Federal Census, Anna Scott was 40 years old. She had been married to Albert for 5 years. The family farmed at Cherry Creek Road and Cross Roads in Franktown, Douglas, Colorado. They owned their own home. Anna stated she had given birth 3 times and only one of the children, Alta, was counted in May of 1910. Anna's 2nd child a boy known as Baby Abbey was born and died 1909 and is buried in Franktown Cemetery.
