Warm Springs resident Ruth Adams died Nov. 22, 2005, at Mountain View Hospital at the age of 64.

Mrs. Adams was born Jan. 7, 1941, in Jemez Pueblo, N.M., to parents Valintino and Lenora (Toledo) Fragua. She was an enrolled member of the Jemez Pueblo tribe. On July 2, 1959, she married Delmar Adams in San Francisco, Calif. She moved from Modesto, Calif., to Oregon 30 years ago.

She was known for her excellent sense of humor and was a member of the Warm Springs Full Gospel Church.

Survivors include her children, Dean Adams of Burns, Rodney Adams of Albuquerque, N.M., Thomas Adams of Madras, Rena Smith of Warm Springs; brothers, Jacob Fragua of Mesa, Ariz., and Phillip Fragua of Jemez, N.M.; sisters, Margaret Swazo of Santa Fe, N.M., and Maureen Fragua of Warm Springs; 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held Nov. 24, at the Full Gospel Church in Warm Springs, with overnight services at her home in Warm Springs. Burial was at the New Camp Cemetery in Burns. Arrangements were under the direction of Bel-Air Colonial Funeral Home of Madras.
