HAYSVILLE — Riley E. Abel Jr., 41, died Monday (Dec. 11, 2006) in Haysville.
He was born on Aug. 17, 1965 in Dallas to Riley E. Sr. and Patricia (Skinner) Abel. On July, 1988 he married Minnie Hosmer in Kaufman, Texas. She survives.
He loved to fish with his family and friends. He enjoyed art and was especially good at drawing. He also loved sports and liked to watch football; the Dallas Cowboys were his "team."
He is survived by his son, Christopher Lee Abel of Newton; daughters, Nitkosha May and Tabitha Lynn Abel of Newton; mother, Patricia Abel of Newton; father Riley E. Abel of Newton; brother, Joel H. Abel of Newton; and grandmother, Grace Skinner of Dallas.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Eugene C. and Artie B. Abel; and grandfather Bernard Skinner.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Newton, with Peter Harman officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
