Sue was a 1960 Clinton County High School, Albany, KY graduate. She was a medical technician and worked at John Kenyon Eye Center in Jeffersonville, IN for over 15 years. She was most known for her artistic ability. Sketching was always her favorite pastime, and she was a self-taught painter. She as an artist and loved painting. She received national recognition acclaim when she painted the portrait, "Socks, the Mischievous White House Cat" and sent it to Bill Clinton to display in The White House. She turned an art hobby into a career of something she had longed to do.
