Services for Mrs.Gertrude Maybelle Howard Tipton 80 , of Pell City Al. will be Friday February 14th at 12:30 P.M. from Usrey- Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted St.John and Rev. Frank Parris officiating .Interment will be in Macedonia baptist Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters Peggy Phillips and Sandy Kirkland and by a son Kenneth Tipton ,and by a sister Bertie Trammell ;by 12 grandchildren and 23 great grand children. Mrs Tipton was native of Shelby county and lived most of her life in St.Clair County. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Tipton and a daughter Ruth Malley. Pallbearers are her grandsons Billy Tipton,Paul Phillips,Jason Phillips,Lonnie Malley, Chris Malley and Kenneth Malley Jr. Nanny made beautiful Quilts and made the best fried apple pies ,she canned from the garden and loved flowers and was a faithful servant to the church and loved her Lord .Her family loved her as she loved them.
