Mrs. Eva Akers died at the Alexandria Hospital this morning at 3:30 after having been in declining health for five years. She was removed from her home, 1123 Prince street, to the Alexandria Hospital five months ago. Her death was not unexpected.
Mrs. Akers who was well know in this section, where she often visited relatives, is survived by her husband, Ayler Akers, formerly of King George county, and two brothers, E. W. Stain (sic. Benjamin William Spain), of this city, and Luther Stain (sic Spain), of Waverly, Va.
Funeral services have not been completed, but will take place some time Friday. Announcement will be made later.
