Toby M. Abbe, 57, of South Sioux City, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 13, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Mohr & Becker Hunt Funeral Home. Toby was born on November 11, 1965 in Sioux City, the son of Charles "Tom" and Barbara (Sabatino) Abbe. On June 27, 1987 he married Paula "Sparky" Cramer, and to this union 5 children were born.
In his free time, Toby enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his children: Lacey Lande (Derrick), Amber Murphy (TJ), Kyla Poppe (Dustin), Russell Abbe, and Caterina Abbe; several grandchildren; his siblings: Patricia Tomaszek (Ed), Phyllis Fleenor (Robert), Phil Abbe (Kay), Hoby Abbe (Marcia) and Joseph Abbe; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Barbara and Tom Abbe; and siblings: Tommy Abbe, Melanie Abbe, John Abbe, and James Abbe.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Russell Abbe, Todd Anderson, Dustin Poppe, TJ Murphy, Derrick Lande, and Braxton Cramer.
