Gerald worked & retired from Sears after 15 years. After his retirement, Gerald perused his passion of entrepreneurship opening several businesses such as The Smoke Shop, Jewelry World, & Knife Country. In his free time, Gerald enjoyed spending time at the lake & spending time with his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Gerald leaves behind his wife: Ruby Jeanette Clouse Myatt; 2 grandchildren: Jonathan Abboushi of Baxter and granddaughter: Kailey Abboushi Walker of Cookeville; and great-grandchildren: Addalynn, Clayton, Wyatt, & Noah Walker. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Clarence & Keith Myatt; & daughter: Tammy Myatt-Abboushi.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, December 6th at the Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Bro. Gary West officiating. Interment followed at Pleasant View Cemetery.
