Meredith Abbitt passed away on December 2, 2023, at his home in Whitestown. He was born on November 17, 1935, in Lebanon, a son of the late Chester and Mary (Hamilton) Abbitt.
He graduated from Zionsville High School in 1953. He was a lifetime member of Mts. Runn Baptist Church in Zionsville, where he served on the cemetery board.
Survivors include his wife, Louise May (Dye) Abbitt, daughter, Lillian R. Easter, 2 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral Services are planned for December 9, 2023, at Mts. Runn Baptist Church. Meredith will be laid to rest at Mts. Runn Baptist Cemetery.
