Arnold "Bunny" Herman Abend, 86, of Spruce passed away peacefully Monday, May 18, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family after a short illness with cancer.

Bunny was born on May 6, 1934 in Alpena County to the late Adolph and Rose (Hartman) Abend. He served in the United States Army. Arnold owned Abend Electric Motor Service and enjoyed farming and will be remembered for his famous potatoes.

Surviving are his two children, Rebecca Abend, Jimmy (Lisa) Abend; 6 grandchildren, Josh, Aubrey, Ashlyn, Jordan, Hunter, Taylor; and granddog, Charlie.

Mr. Abend was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Abend; and two sisters, Velma Marchaud and Ruth Beaubien.
