Mrs. Ona Jean Abbott age 66, a resident of Deatsville, AL passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at a local hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Abbott will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Father Mark Waldo officiating. The interment will follow at Robinson Springs Cemetery with Daniel Drew, Tanner Vance, Chris Katechis, Gus Katechis, Daniel Albright, Justin Houlton, John Drew and David Hester serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Abbott was a member of St. Michael and All Angels' Episcopal Church, The Millbrook Revelers, Millbrook Garden Club and a Retired Registered Nurse. She attended Cursillo in Alabama 222. She was preceded in death by her parents George Donnell and Pauline Abbott Nixon and her brother Dwight Donnell. She is survived by her daughter Ona Alexis Albright (Daniel), God daughter Hillary Houlton (Justin), grandchildren Holden Albright, Dona Albright, Mary Albright and Charlie Albright and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
