Candace Renee Acuff, age 56, of Clarksville, TN., passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

She will be laid to rest at Kelly Cemetery in Luttrell, TN., at a later date.

Candy entered this life on July 15, 1967, in Knoxville, TN., to Franklin Wyrick and Brenda Norton Hughes. At the age of 12, Candy was Saved and Baptized at Holston Memorial Batist Church in Strawberry Plains, TN. She was currently a member of Greater Missionary Baptist Church, Clarksville, TN. Candy loved crafting and painting, especially with her grandchildren. She had a true servant's heart. Loving and helping people and her neighbors when needed.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Verlin and Alta Wyrick and maternal grandparents, James and Pauline Norton.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her stepfather, Walter Hughes; daughters, Amanda Acuff and Erin Todd; grandchildren, Matisyn, Cannon, Caymen, Decius, Soreya, and Zenaia; sister, Connie Hurst; nephews, Nathan and Tyler Hurst; step-sister, Megan Hutchinson; step-brother, Andy Hughes, their families, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends who will miss Candy and her kindness deeply.
