DEBORAH ANNE (VALENCE) HOWARD


Deborah "Debby" Anne Howard, 59, of Leavenworth, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. She was born March 4, 1963, to Major Liberty X Valence and Saundra (Blaski) Munt.


She is survived by her former husband, Joseph Wolters; her children, Jason (Rebecca) Wolters, Jarod (Destiney) Marshall; Ashley Schroeder and Chase Aaron; grandchildren, Jordan Marshall, Kaleb Marshall, Tristan Wolters, Alyssa Marshall, Jayden Schroeder, Tessa Marshall, Jaxson Schroeder and Abel Wolters; and great-grandchildren, Karsyn Marshall and one on the way!


Debby loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed writing poetry and cooking meals from scratch when she was younger. In her free time, Debby liked to go to the casino. She was very loved and will be missed dearly.


Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home, with a reception to follow. Deborah wished to be cremated after the services. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
