Currently Looking for burial location. Last Census was 1880 Grayson County Texas, suspect that she and James and Margeret Jane Perryman Johnson may have passed in Grayson County or a county over the line in Oklahoma. Currently researching land, burial, and death records. We know the family had a presence in Grayson and Cooke County Texas up until about 1889. Most of their children have been found buried in Bryan County, Grady County, Pottawattomie County, Johnston Counties in Oklahoma. We have a family photo of their kids in 1895 together (I suspect this photo was taken at a funeral of James or Jane Johnson). If anyone has any additional information please email me at [email protected]. Their daughter Nancy Wilson filed for Dawes Indian lands under the Johnson family, however their was little information in the actual application of their deaths or heritage. This was filed in 1902 in Maud Oklahoma and they listed Nancy's parents as deceased in that application.
