Earl S Gurley, 77, of Casey, IL formerly of Hutsonville vicinity, died Sat evening at St. Anthony Hosp in Terre Haute, IN following an extended illness,

He was the son of Charles and Clarissa (Rains) Gurley, pioneer residents of Hutsonville Twp and a member of the Friends Church on Quaker Lane.

Mr. Gurley is survived by 3 daughters, Maxine Meeker of Hutsonville, Marjorie Shafer of Marshall, IL and Theresa Mae Marshall of Oakland, CA; 1 son, MSGT Earl Robert Gurley, Air Force of Deluth, MN; a sister Ellen White of rural Hutsonville, IL; 2 brothers, Everett and Ernest Gurley of Hutsonville, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Weds at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Hutsonville with Rev Hugh Spaulding officiating.
Burial will be in the Guyer Cemetery.
