Mr. Paul was born March 8, 1929 to Mr. Milton "Manny" Paul and Mrs. Dora Elizabeth "Girlie" Paul in Book, La. He was married to Adell Ellis on Oct. 1, 1953. He was a member of Community Pentecostal Church of Manifest. He served his country in the U.S. Army in 1951. He was also a well-known and respected commercial fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lois Adams; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter.
He was survived by his wife Adell of Jonesville; one son Buddy Dupuis, Nebo, La.; four daughters: Virgie Carter, Monterey, La; Myrtle Wallace of Sicily Island; Hazel Tomlinson; Cindy Byrnes, all of Sandy Lake, La. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Elvina Book, Opal Carlton, and Thiry Winborne, all of Jonesville; one brother, Pervon Paul of Monterey.
Pallbearers were grandsons: Brian Dupuis, Jeremy Dupuis, Richie Carter, Bennie Carter, Jory Wallace, and Broc Byrnes.
Honorary pallbearers were Jason Byrnes, Lance Torrey, and Casey Harrell.
