Mrs. Beryl Abbett Dies At Franklin
EDINBURG - Mrs. Beryl Abbett, 69, widow of Roscoe Abbett, died at 5 p.m. Thursday at Johnson county Memorial hospital at Franklin after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Abbett lived at 606 South Holland street in Edinburg.
Born in Johnson county Dec. 2, 1896, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Watts. She was married to Mr. Abbett in 1915 and he died in August of 1941.
Surviving are three sons, Gailen Abbett of Kokomo, Oran Abbett of Columbus and Norman Abbett of Indianapolis; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mutz funeral home in Edinburg, conducted by the Rev. Ray Bozell. Burial will be at Hamner cemetery at Amity. Persons may call now at the funeral home.
