He died at 2:52 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, Tenn., of natural causes.
A native of Brainerd, Minn., he was born Sept. 14, 1938, the son of the late Ernest T. and Goldie Aamodt.
He had worked for Hopkinsville Stone and Buy Right Auto Parts and was a member of the Hopkinsville Church of Nazarene. He was a Vietnam Army veteran and member of the Hopkinsville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 1913.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Aamodt, Hopkinsville, and a daughter, Patt Parrish, Hopkinsville.
