LOGAN-Leona Stevenson Adams, 89, died peacefully on July 11, 2008 at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.


Born August 31, 1918 in Sublet, Idaho to Abel Weaver and Clara Dalley Stevenson. Married James Cecil Adams on her 18th birthday in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.



Survived by her children, Elaine (Brent) Olsen, Irvine CA; Marie (Clinton [Butch]) Clegg, Logan; James (Trudy) Adams, Taylorsville; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, brothers Arthur, Lynn (Darleen), and Zane (Sharon) Stevenson; in-laws Ruth Stevenson; Shirley and Nathan Packer, Wally and Helen Adams. Preceded in death by parents, husband Cecil, sons Le Grand and Kenneth, great grandchildren Kaylie Mathews and Nathan Orton, brothers Merlin and Harold Stevenson, in-laws Ethel and Margaret Stevenson, Lola and Reese Kofoed.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 17 at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah at 1 p.m. A Viewing will be held from 11:30-12:30 prior to Services.
Interment: Logan City Cemetery.
