EDENTON - Lloyd Vaughn Adams , 60, of the 1300 block of Dogwood Lane, Wilson, N.C., died Saturday, March 16, 2002, in Chowan Hospital. Mr. Adams was the son of Sybil C. Adams and the late William W. Adams.
Mr. Adams was a graduate of Atlantic Christian College and he served in the United States Coast Guard. He was retired as a certified flight instructor and manager of Wilson Aviation.
Surviving other than his mother are his sister, Barbara A. Davis and her husband Talmadge of Suffolk; his brother, William W. Adams Jr. and his wife Leona of Newport News; one nephew, Jonathan Davis; three nieces, Cheryl Toms, Frances Adams and Catherine Adams; and four great-nieces.
A celebration of Mr. Adams' life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Evans Funerals and Cremations Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held following the visitation.
