Emil Nelson passed away Friday morning, July 26, 1918, at his home near Wayne. His death was due to tuberculosis. Mr. Nelson was 26 years old the 26th of June and was a farmer living two miles west and a half mile north of Wayne. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. from the Wayne Swedish church, Rev. Salen of Scandia officiating. Burial was made in the Rose Mound (sic) cemetery (sic). Mr. Nelson leaves a wife and his father, Andrew Nelson, to mourn his departure.
