FORMER RESIDENT OF
PILOT GROVE DIES
A. C. Harriman, 74, died Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Thompson, near Slater, after an illness of several years. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at Slater with graveside services and burial in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
A.C. Harriman, son of Dr. and Mrs. W. P. Harriman, was born November 22, 1869 near Pilot Grove. He resided many years in Pilot Grove and was the owner of the Mt. Vernon Stock Farm there.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his four children, Bert Harriman, Jr., Mrs. James Thompson of Slater; Mrs. Albert Hall of Centerville; and William Harriman of Gulfport, Mississippi.
