Miss Maude Abbey died at the family home, nine miles north of Cherryvale, at 6:30 o’clock Wednesday morning, death being caused by lung trouble. She was 34 years of age and the daughter of Orville and Julia Abbey. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and an estimable lady. The funeral services were conducted at the home this morning at 9:30 o’clock by Rev. C.A. Russell, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of this city. The remains were laid to rest in the Morehead cemetery.
