Mrs. Virginia “Jennie” Pierce Edmonds (1885-1964), 78, died Saturday night after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. E. Aaron, in Crescent City. Mrs. Edmunds had been a resident of Seville most of her life, coming from Whiteville, N.C.

Besides Mrs. Aaron, she its survived by another daughter, Mrs. Emily Crane, Jacksonville; two sons, Wingate Edmonds, Norfolk, Va., and Frank Edmonds, McCrory, Ark.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the graveside in Seville Cemetery with Rev. Donald Mizell of Howe Memorial Church, Crescent City, officiating.
