The Springdale News from The Green Forest Tribune (Alpena) July 24, 1911
Quite a gloom was cast over the community by the death of Bee Faulkner which occurred Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Faulkner had been ill but a short time, death being due to an acute affection of the heart, lungs and stomach.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Trout, following which interment was made and I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Deceased was 27 years old and leaves a wife and baby
daughter.

Bee Faulkner of Alpena, son of Mrs. Palma Faulkner and grandson of Arch Hopper, died Sunday evening of last week of pneumonia in both lungs and acute heart and stomach trouble. He was buried at 2 o'clock the next evening in the Odd Fellows graveyard in Alpena.
