08/04/09 An old transcription of this cemetery held in the State of Michigan library says, "Children of J.J. and A. Huff (at the bottom of the stone), J.A. Huff d. Nov 30, 1881, 6 m. 19 d. Anthenye E. d. May 21, 1849. 1 y. 2 m. 25 d."
I am not mistaken with the identification of the child, memoralized at the top of this monument. It clearly says in several photos, I.J.A. The bottom, I thought said, Children of I & J Huff. (Very weathered now but the 1989 reading confirms it.) The baby that died 1881 couldn't be Isaac & Josephine's baby-probably a grand child or great grandchild. I will continue to research this.
