Roy Elbe Abbott 54, died at his home in Viola, yesterday (24 July 1941), following a lingering illness. He had farmed near Viola for about 21 years, and was a life member of the Christian church.
He is survived by his widow, Mary, and three sons, Eldon of Potlatch, and Howard and Nelson of Viola. A brother, Earl Abbott, resides in Dallas, Iowa.
The funeral service will be held at the Viola church at 2:30 Saturday. Burial will be in the new Viola cemetery. The body is at Carlsen's.
