Charles David ("Chuck" "Red") Arnett was born in Silt Colorado on January 6 1927 to Charles Herbert and Mary Henderson Arnett. he spent his childhood in Silt, Rifle, Hayden, Grand Junction and Gateway Colorado.
On December 27 1954 he Married Lloydia Lois Wilson in Reno Nevada, The couple have been residents since.
Charles served in the Navy and was discharged on April 2 1946. He was employed as a truck driver and was a vested Teamster of Union #13. he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping,
carpentry, Diesel mechanic work, and jeep runs with his brother Bob.
Charles Died on February 5, 1996 at his home after a sudden illness and complications following surgery he was 69, Funeral services were held on Friday February 9th at Grant Mortuary with Bill Lyon officiating. Pallbearers were Tony Hillewaert Jr., Ray Hillewaert, Jeff Hillewaert, Kenneth Arnett Jr., Don Arnett, Honorary pallbearers were Tony Hillewaert Jr., Jim Duran, Dick Peirce, and Glen ShepherdCraig Cemetery with Military Honors given by VFW post #4265.
Charles is survived by his wife, Lloydia Arnett of Craig, his son TOmmy and wife Cindy of Paso Robles, CA. : Daughters Lori and husband Troy Goodson of Clifton CO. and Vicki and Husband Michael O'Brian of Craig, CO. Brothers Bob Arnett of Rulison CO. and Kenneth Arnett Sr. of Craig. Sisters Ruby Paxton and Verna Jean Stinecipher both of Grand Junction and 10 grand children.
Charles was proceeded in death by his parents one brother Herbert Wayne and one sister Goldie and one grandson Kevin Z. Arnett
